Part of the Expromet Technologies Group, Metaltech Precision is a class-leading provider of turnkey precision CNC machining and fabrication solutions for performance-critical industries.

With over 50 state-of-the-art CNC machining centres, we are able to machine a wide range of components up to 1,250mm for turning and 2,500mm for milling and can work with all materials including exotics such as Titanium, Inconel, Hastelloy and Duplex.

We provide a turnkey solution from prototyping through to fully finished, fabricated and assembled parts working with a range of demanding industry sectors such as aerospace, defence, renewables, electronics, oil and gas, medical, rail and marine.

CNC Turning

We have 20 CNC fixed head turning centres complementing our vast range of machining capabilities. Employing fixed head CNC turning enables us to offer cost efficient turned parts from 40mm diameter to 600mm diameter.

Our Doosan Puma vertical CNC turning machines are designed for long-term accuracy with a component capacity of up to 1250mm diameter and 2 tonne in weight.

We have a dedicated CNC Sliding Head Machining facility on site. This gives us the capacity to offer high volume production of cost effective precision turned parts. We machine precision turned parts from a variety of materials, in batch runs ranging from 100 off to 10,000.

CNC Milling

As well as having strong 5 axis CNC milling capabilities we also utilise the latest in 3 & 4 axis CNC milling. Our 3 & 4 axis vertical and horizontal milling capacity provides a maximum machining envelope of 3,000mm x 800mm.

For large component and high speed heavy duty machining we utilise Mazak’s VTC-800/30SR 5 axis prismatic milling technology. A massive working envelope of 3,000mm x 800mm x 720mm enables us to offer travelling column multiple surface machining of heavy and large components in a single setup.

5 Axis Machining

In recent years we have invested heavily in the latest Mazak multitasking CNC machining equipment, including the recent acquisition of the Integrex i400S. We have the capacity to deliver highly complex medium to large sized parts with an incredible amount of precision and efficiency.

Gantry fed fully automated multitasking machines complement our extensive range of CNC machining operations. Reduced cycle time, more flexibility and high productivity make these machines a good choice for specific material grades and particular component projects.
